Cameron is the Director of Marketing at HootSuite.
Today, he is focused on building a global brand through a storytelling approach, with social media and content at its core. Cameron has over 15 years of digital media and marketing experience. Previously, he worked for Intrawest, as VP Marketing Services. He built a culture of creativity and innovation with a community of 70 marketers around world, supporting $5 Billion in real estate sales. He has also worked on the agency-side with McCann WorldGroup, in San Francisco and Toronto, leading global campaigns for General Motors, Unilever and Microsoft.
Stephen has had the pleasure of founding, building and selling several consumer data focused startups over the last decade working in the role of CEO.
His first company called iQuiri.com, was one of the first companies to make consumer credit reports and scores available online and was acquired by Experian in 2003. His second company NDS, was founded in 2004 and was the marketing division of Canada’s first credit bureau, which was acquired in 2006 also by Experian. His third company, Pharos Global was a consumer identity management and restoration partnership that leveraged both national and international partnerships with large consumer credit bureaus to bring world class products and services to Canada, the US and Australia. Kroll Marsh bought out Pharos’ interests in the business in 2009.
Stephen created Trulioo in late 2009 to help build a trust layer into the Internet, and fix the problem of broken identity that today effects so many online businesses and continues to stifle economic growth and Internet innovation.
With over 15 years’ experience in Global Marketing and General Management, Bruno is a known quantity in the Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data World. He has worked at Start-Ups, and both medium & large outfits in the US, France, UK & Germany.
At Business Objects, he helped the team market Web Intelligence and BusinessObjects Enterprise. At Microsoft, his team shipped 9 products in less than 6 years and created the industry’s fastest growing Analytics channel, “BI-TV"; Bruno has been featured on The Economist, Freakonomics & on Robert Scoble’s Scobleizer.
Bruno dedicates his time to working with customers and helping them break-away from the “old way of doing Business Intelligence".
Thomas Levi started out with a doctorate in Theoretical Physics and String Theory from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. His post-doctoral studies in cosmology and string theory, where he wrote 19 papers garnering 600+ citations, then took him to NYU and finally UBC.
In 2012, he decided to move into industry, and Tommy took on the role of Senior Data Scientist at POF, analyzing their billions of rows of data as part of a 5 person research team studded with PhDs in Physics, Computer Science and Machine Learning. The rapid pace at POF has meant that in the past year Tommy has been involved in projects as diverse as user behaviour analysis, social network analysis, scam detection, Bot detection, matching algorithms and lexical processing.
Jacob is a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Information Management practice with a focus on Data Management, Business Analytics and Visualization. Jacob has over 15 years of experience in strategy, implementation and deployment of packaged and best-of-breed analytics solutions in financial services, utilities, gaming and retail industries. He leverages statistical and visualization techniques to deliver actionable information for decision-making while ensuring pragmatic enterprise information architectures to manage and share data effectively. In his approach, he incorporates related concepts such as Big Data, enterprise architecture, data integration techniques, real-time (active) intelligence, data mash-ups, master data management and information delivery to mobile devices.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Jacob was responsible for the strategic direction of enterprise and customer analytics at Canada’s oldest retailer.
